Vacation

We were soooo happy to be able to see Monica, Dan, Anna and Leo while we were down here. It's been too long! Thanks for everything, guys....

Of course, there was also plenty of my FAVORITE activity of the trip. Oy. Mom's arms are on fire from all of the catching and lifting! And me? Well, I'm pretty sure I can swim by myself now. Sheez!

Sometimes, I even go backwards!

Well, that's all for now. Here is a look out our front door to our pool and over to the sound side, not far away at all. Great trip!

Vacation!

Things got better over the next few days. I'm so brave! And, it was fun even INSIDE my condo!

Good morning, Ocean!

I think I like you today! :-)

So, I learned this is FUN and that I can get there all by myself! See, this is what I see from my room:

Then, I go downstairs, and run the walkway, to the beach!

And what's with these creatures? What are you lookin' at?!?!?

Then, one cloudy day, we went to the Acquarium. I wasn't sure at first. It was dark and kinda scary. But I did show my blankie to the fish....

Then, we went to the outside part of the Acquarium and I got comfortable!

We also went for a hike. A short one. I think I like hikes.

And then, back inside where I was MUCH more comfy! Still sharing my blankie, of course.

Safely back at home, I read my favorite book!

Vacation!!

Guess where we are!

That's right! Emerald Isle at the BEACH.

I was pretty dubious about the whole thing, initially.

First, I wasn't sure about the sand . . .

Then, the water kept chasing me! And I did NOT like it!!
