I read a number of highly traveled and well worn blogs.
You know the ones..... those that are read by not a few dozen, or a few hundred, but regularly by THOUSANDS of visitors. I mean, wow. Just wow.
There is a part of my flesh that wishes anyone found something I had to say "that" important. But I also know, that's not my "thing." It just isn't. But if I had to choose just one of my posts to go viral, it would be this one. Lord, please let the stat trackers jump.off.the.page.
Please allow me to introduce you to Morning Star Family Home.
Morning Star exists to bring love, hope, healing and life to orphaned, abandoned and needy children with severe heart disease. Morning Star first opened in China over six years ago and since that time, the Lord has allowed Bill and Lynsay Lewis to participate in miracle after miracle for children with {literal} broken hearts.
Many of these children are able to move to orphanages in China to later be adopted, after their hearts are repaired, or repaired well enough to travel for more repairs. As a result there are a number of Morning Star children living with loving families and thriving! Such an incredible ministry.
Morning Star has expanded to Uganda and is working there to assist children in receiving life saving heart surgeries. Because some of these surgeries cannot take place in Uganda, Morning Star has already facilitated sending two children to India for surgery. One was successful. Sadly, one was not and the teenage boy was given only a short time to live. This week, Erias went to be with His heavenly Father, and we grieve his earthly loss.

While we grieve, we know that Erias' loss is a call for us and Morning Star to do MORE, not to give up hope. God has called a loving couple to move to Uganda in September and reach out to the beautiful people there with love, hope, healing and LIFE. But they can't do this without YOU. Here is a list of just some of the things they need:
* $7200 for rent for a year
* $10,000 for a used van
* $2500 to complete NGO registration in Uganda
* $4000 for home/office furnishings and office supplies
* $3500 for THREE annual salaries
* Other miscellaneous expenses for gas, electricity, and more

The needs for Morning Star Uganda are great and we KNOW that God will provide. I am asking for ONE HUNDRED new Morning Star supporters at $25 a month. That's just $300 a year. If some could do $1000 a month, we could quickly reduce the number of sponsors we need!
