Easter Story

Easter Saturday I was reviewing the Easter story with my kiddos.

{.... the same children who believe that Christmas is all about getting gifts.  Um, kind of....}

I was asking specific questions about Easter and Zechariah or Leah were responding.

Accurately!  {Yay!}

Then, I specifically asked Seth how Jesus died.  Here was his matter-of-fact reply:

"Um, well, he was shot."

And that, my friends is the Easter story.

{sigh}
