Seth has long been the "champion" of this series of blogs.
I mean, Leah and Zechariah could step up at any moment, but for now, Seth reigns.
This week was no different.
The start of school brought Seth back to my bed in the middle of every night. Because he slept in his own bed all summer, and because of the rough back-to-school transition, I haven't given him too much grief about it, but I do occasionally ask him, "What gives???"
Monday night, I had Leah and Zechariah down for the count when I found my way to Seth's bed -- which is in the same room as Zechariah's. I asked him why he comes to my bed every night and this is what I got:
"Mom, you see, I am allergic to peanuts. And my bed has peanuts. So I have to come to your bed."
Complete dead pan.
Without a moment's hesitation, Zechariah burst out laughing and called Seth on his cray-cray, noting that he most certainly is NOT allergic to peanuts. My word.
That one goes down in history!
Then today, Angie (our nanny) sent me a text at work to report this doozie:
Seth: "Leah, I'm not going to marry you; I'm going to marry GRACE. Grace is a GIRL and she pokes me."
Ahhh kindergarten love.
By the way, Seth recently told me that this girl's name is Grace STEINER. Where does he come up with this stuff???
Here we go!
