Seth and Leah have been getting an allowance since we turned the calendar.
The deal is that they put their dishes in the sink after eating meals and put their PJs on their pillows after they get up and change for the day.
It's not a lot, but they are 3 and 4.
In exchange, they get a quarter from me at the end of the day.
The unspoken rule is that they also have to practice good listening to get that quarter.
The quarters have been piling up.
And other change also has made its way into the Piggies. :)
So a couple of weeks ago, Seth made his first purchase on the Internet.
He is obsessed about rockets.
And space.
We went "shopping" together (on the 'net) and found something in his price range.
We broke open Seth's piggy bank and he paid me $6.11 for his new rocket.
(I handled the shipping this time....)
And Seth?
He's one happy camper!!

I bet he will love that rocket more than any you could buy for him...b/c he paid for it with his own hard-earned money!
I love that he isn't ashamed of his interests! Stay that way little boy.
