This and That

It was a busy week....

.... and finally a bit (bit) warmer!

This resulted in the first of many "water fun" evenings.
Um, if your brother can relieve himself in the yard, you probably want to too!

Filling buckets, emptying buckets, soaking the porch....
Ah.... summer!

Then there is Leah, pushing her baby around everywhere!
 What a good mommy!
And Seth.  With is new obsession.
The hose!
And just this week, for the first time, Seth decided that he CAN put his shoes on himself.  Yay!  Way to go buddy!!!!
Our furry friends are busy looking for ways OUT.

One of Leah's favorite riding vehicles is the push car.
Little did I know who her favorite driver is....

And let's just say "slow" is not in his vocabulary!!
Watch out!!!!
Saturday we went to Monkey Island.
It was supposed to rain and we (Seth) needed to RUN.
 And climb.
 And climb some more.

 And bounce.
 And giggle.

 And jump.

 And belly flop!

Check out this "ladder" and the rope to pull yourself up!
Atta boy....

 And slide.
Over and over and over.

Needless to say, three hour nap after that trip!  Ha!  Score one for Mommy!

Sunday was kids' day at White Sox park, so on Uncle Joel's suggestion, off we went!

What is it about cotton candy that's so delicious?
Um, sugar???
What!?!?!  I don't like fire works!!!
 Dude, I LOVE fireworks!  :)

Grandma and Papa were there too!
And baby Peyton...

On our way to the car, this street performer offered lessons.
Hey, Seth is really good!!!

 Of course, so is Leah....

After a very long day, it's back home for a late dinner and BED.
 With our sunglasses, of course!

Thank God for our SWEET family.  We missed you Biddles and Dave!!!
