What is going ON over there?!?!

I thought it was time for one of our good ol' fashioned updates, since it's been a while.  Beginning with our current little sicky, Seth.
This boy really is nothing but pure joy, except for his wild and crazzzzy three year old behavior right now.  Yea, there's that.  :)
His current illness has been no fun at all.
Just tonight, he was looking like this.  Again.
 And this.
After he finished watching Polar Express, he informed me he wanted to watch "Lightening McQueen Polar Express."  Um, you can watch one or the other but not both. He insisted and I was convinced that his fever had made him delirious again.  He then explained that he wanted TWO tvs, one with Cars and one with Polar Express.  We've been sick way too long (apparently).
I'm SO thankful for my friends, like Ashley, who shared on the last post that she had the same thing years ago.  Hearing that makes it much more bearable (and less scary!!).  Thanks, Ashley.....
In other news, Seth has been seeing Dr. Zelinski at Mind Eye Connection.
This week, he got these:
Sure, they look like ordinary glasses, but they are actually *magic* glasses.

Okay, maybe not.  But they sure act like it!
These glasses have some bent light in them (that's my uneducated description for it anyway) that forces Seth to look around in a way he never has before.  Let's just say MIRACLE!!!
Seth is expressive and observant and backs up from the TV when these puppies are on.  He reads books differently; he does everything differently.  It's a Christmas miracle!  I wasn't a believer at first but boy have I changed my mind.  WOW.  I'm so thankful God has led us to the right people in the right places to help with my little man's stuff.  He is learning and growing and awesome.  Thank you, Jesus!

And then there was Leah Grace.  Spunky and sassy as ever and a total blast.
She also is doing great.  Overall.
Unfortunately, she's not "undetectable" yet and we think she may be resistant to her meds.  Darn it.  The good news is that her viral load is 300 (low) and under 50 is undetectable so the docs aren't fussed.  If she was higher we'd feel more urgency.  But pray on that because ideally, she would be undetectable.  And soon.
The rest of the medical doc appointments are checking out great.
Today, we saw a social worker to chat about attachment.  Leah and I are bonding well but I want to make sure I'm doing everything I can to get us on the right track.  (Because, clearly, we don't have nearly enough doctor appointments)
We had a good appointment and the doc thinks we are progressing well.  She's been home five months!  So we go for one more visit to discuss what we learned today and then we are "all clear."  Yay!
Last, we are barefoot today.  Tonight, for me.
Leah was actually "Posing" her feet.  And saying "cheese."  Oh brother.
We are barefoot for this:
Check them out!
Thanks for praying for us....
